Michael D. Petway

Mike Petway is a partner of the law firm of Petway, French & Ford, LLP, in Birmingham, Alabama.
 

Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1984, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1991. He has been practicing law for over 30 years. Although he has worked as a defense attorney, Mike quickly realized his passion for plaintiff’s law and has served as a trial lawyer for 29 years. His joy in practicing law comes from representing people from all walks of life in their time of crisis. He is truly invested in helping his clients.

In addition to his law background, Mike has business experience as a certified public accountant. His business knowledge distinguishes him from other attorneys in that it allows him to thoroughly understand the economic damages associated with catastrophic injuries. Not only has Mike handled cases for clients from all over Alabama, but he has also represented people and handled cases in other states, including Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Oklahoma.

Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Mike now lives here with his wife Jennifer Petway, and two sons, Jake and Brady. He is an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and enjoys coaching Little League in his free time.
